About & History

History

Perides Art Projects was founded by artist and sculptor Phillip Piperides in 1984. In 1990, Phillip was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in recognition of his work in the arts and monumental casting. Soon after, Phillip travelled to Canada, USA, UK, Italy and Greece to further his knowledge and techniques in lost-wax casting.

Lost-wax casting remains one of the oldest techniques in sculptural manufacturing and our team preserve those unique skills. Enriched in history, the Perides team offer a range of disciplines and skills where quality and fine workmanship remain our focus. We believe in pushing these traditions into new technology, allowing emerging and established artists to bring each individual idea into reality.

40 Years of Quality
